It’s strange that pomelo has many healthy properties.
Pomelo, called the giant orange, is the largest representative of citrus fruits – it can reach up to 25 cm in diameter and 2 kg of weight, while the spongy skin with yellow, yellow-green or pink color can reach up to 5 cm thick, which is why pomelo looks like grapefruit. This is not surprising – in the end, when the pomelo and Chinese orange were crossed, the pomelo was sweeter, less sour and unfortunately less aromatic and juicy than the grapefruit pulp. The pulp may be white, green or red, with the most valuable nutrients for health are found in this white one.
