Properties of apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar contains vitamins, minerals, organic acids, fiber and polyphenols. Unpasteurized (such apple cider vinegar is the most recommended) also contains many valuable enzymes. You can find in it, among others, B vitamins, vitamin C, potassium, acetic acid, malic acid, valuable pectin, rutin, quercetin, chlorogenic acid and gallic acid. Thanks to this, apple vinegar speeds up the metabolism and makes it easier to lose excess kilograms. Of course, the vinegar alone will not make you lose weight in a magical way, but thanks to it we can simply speed up the process. In addition, apple vinegar also affects the reduction of LDL cholesterol, which often accompanies people who are overweight or obese. Due to the pectin mentioned above, apple cider vinegar can also help those who have problems with sugar fluctuations or who have diabetes. Pectin makes the glucose go to the blood in smaller amounts, thanks to which its level does not grow so rapidly. What’s more, pectin also helps remove heavy metals and toxins from the body. Therefore, those who advise using apple cider vinegar as part of the purification are right. Although it is known that detox is primarily responsible for the liver, however, apple cider vinegar can help its operation and make it possible to observe a significant improvement in well-being after a few weeks of regular use of vinegar. Unpasteurised apple vinegar helps eliminate excess Candida albicans. This unpasteurized enzyme rich helps to restore the proper pH – enzymes create an unfavorable environment for fungi in the gut. Remember to eat apple cider vinegar (eg 1 tablespoon of vinegar for half a glass of water).

How to make apple cider vinegar?

Making apple cider vinegar is child’s play. You will need a kilogram of apples (they may be so wilted, but not distracted!), A liter of boiled, cooled water and a few tablespoons of sugar.

The apples should be cut into small pieces and removed inedible elements (seeds and nests). Then place them in a scalded jar and pour over water. This is the most important moment – you have to pay attention that the apples are completely covered. If something stays on top, the fruits can start to mold. Then vinegar will not be usable. Sometimes flooded apples can also break down because we do not notice that a small element protrudes above the water. You can crush them with a small jar filled with water – then no undesirable element of the apple will flow above the water level. In addition, a large jar should be carefully covered with gauze – near the apples fruit flies may appear; gauze will protect your vinegar from insects. The solution prepared in this way is left for a few weeks (it can be mixed daily with a wooden spoon). Apple cider vinegar will be ready when the water stops to foam, and it will turn into a beautiful, amber color. Properly prepared vinegar has a sweet and sour taste. The ready liquid can be poured into scalded bottles and stored in a shaded place.

Application not only in the kitchen

Vinegar has a positive effect not only from the inside. When used outdoors, it can significantly reduce acne and cure dandruff. Apple cider vinegar helps the skin because it contains ingredients responsible for removing dead cells, thus refreshing and rejuvenating the complexion. It is also worth using it in the bathroom and kitchen for cleaning when you do not want to use chemicals (or when you simply can not use them, eg because of various sensitivities). Apple cider vinegar is also a natural remedy for the treatment of athlete’s foot and warts. It can also be used on hair – vinegar leaves it soft and shiny. You do not have to be afraid of the smell – the vinegar is fast and does not feel it in the rooms or on our skin.
